Shahnoza Mirziyoyeva Awarded the Asian Order of the Asian Paralympic Committee

Shahnoza Mirziyoyeva, First Deputy Director of the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, First Deputy Chairwoman of the National Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan, and a member of the World Aquatics Bureau, has been awarded the Asian Order of the Asian Paralympic Committee for her contribution to promoting equality, inclusion, protecting the rights of persons with disabilities, and advancing parasport.

It should be noted that, thanks to her initiatives, the Association of Adaptive Sports of Uzbekistan was established. As a result, the rehabilitation process through sport has significantly improved, especially in expanding the participation of women and girls with disabilities in adaptive sports.

Furthermore, Shahnoza Mirziyoyeva has made significant contributions to the development of parasport across Asia, strengthening cooperation between countries and supporting inclusive sports programs. Her initiatives have helped develop adaptive sports infrastructure in the region and create new opportunities for many young athletes.
