The Hayot Dog Shelter needs your support

The official shelter for dogs Haet was founded by Iroda Matkarimova in 2018. The shelter is located 25 km east of Tashkent. For 3 years of work, 2000+ animals have been attached, now there are 3500+ dogs in the shelter.

06.02.2022, members of the NGO "Mehr va Oqibat" came to visit.These are the deputy of the Oliy Majlis Elena Babenko, the dog handler Ksenia Kazak, as well as the OZH volunteers. They brought the puppies food and sweets.Despite the heavy rain, the work in the Hut was already in full swing. The guests got acquainted with our pets, in what conditions the dogs are kept, how they are fed, treated, and walked.The caretaker Dilya told how life goes in the shelter, that the dogs have their own curators and regular volunteers who come to help every weekend. Even in this weather, their favorite assistants are with them. They also told the guests about the current projects "Lessons of kindness" and "Hold your paw, friend" on zootherapy, which they conduct together with volunteers at schools and institutions. We have outlined joint plans. Conducting a seminar of dog handlers and zoopsychologists. In March, a planned vaccination of shelter dogs with rabies vaccination is planned jointly with the staff of the OZH.
