The Image of Protection in Children's Hearts

Today, at the "Lokomotiv" amusement park in our capital, a children's drawing contest on the theme “Child Protection Through My Eyes” was held. The event was organized by the National Agency for Social Protection in cooperation with UNICEF, creating an opportunity for children to express their understanding of concepts such as protection, safety, and care through their creativity.
This event was held in connection with June 1 – International Day for Protection of Children and to promote the essence of the Law on the Protection of Children from All Forms of Violence, which came into force on May 15. The aim was to raise the legal awareness of both children and their parents.
More than 100 children participated in the event and used their artistic works to express their views on the role and rights of children in society.
Drawing under the theme “Child Protection Through My Eyes” was not just a creative activity. It served as a unique way to understand how children perceive the idea of protection. Some visualized it in the form of an adult figure, while others imagined it at home, in school, in friendship, or in nature. It was a voice that expressed their inner world through color and imagery. For us adults, it became a form of silent, yet meaningful and powerful dialogue.
At the end of the contest, all participants were given commemorative gifts — a symbol not only of appreciation for their participation, but also of recognition of each child’s creative approach and initiative.
