"My choice is a prosperous homeland!" photos and videos open Republican competition
REGULATION
1. General rules
"My choice is a prosperous homeland!" photo and video competition (hereinafter referred to as the Competition) is organized by the Association of Volunteers of Uzbekistan.
2. Purpose and tasks of the competition
The main goals and objectives of the competition are as follows:
- to inform citizens about the election of deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Supreme Majlis and local councils in Uzbekistan, which will be held on October 27, 2024
- development of creative thinking of young people, stimulation of creative self-expression;
- creating conditions for self-realization of young people;
- identification and support of gifted children;
- attracting public attention to youth creativity;
- to encourage the creative achievements of students and teachers;
- improvement of forms of aesthetic and moral upbringing of children and teenagers;
- formation of a positive, optimistic attitude to life in students.
3. Contestants
Young people take part in the competition individually.
Age limit: (16-30 years).
4. Selection stages and conditions
Stage 1 – Registration. Applications will be accepted from October 5 to October 22, 2024.
Stage 2 – Qualifying. Collection and publication of tenders will be carried out from October 6 to October 22. Voting will be held on October 23-24. Then the jury evaluates the cases.
Stage 3 – Final. The winners will be announced on October 25, 2024.
Prepared photo and video materials are accepted through the link https://volontyor.forms.app/saylovtanlov.
- Special places for the contest are given to Instagram reels. For this, you need to make a video in Reels format and post it on Instagram using the hashtag #VolontyorNigohi2024. The top 5 will be awarded based on the number of views on the reels
5. Requirements for the design of works
The theme of the competition: "My choice is a prosperous homeland!"
Video or photo material suitable for the election of deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Supreme Majlis and local councils in Uzbekistan, which will be held on October 27, 2024, should be sent to the competition.
Works that meet the technical requirements are accepted for consideration in the Competition.
If the photo and video materials sent to the competition contain elements that encourage voting for a certain candidate, the works will not be accepted.
To take a photo:
• file format – jpeg, png, jpg;
• dimensions - not less than 300 dpi;
• file size - up to 50 mb;
• the content of photographs should not contradict the laws and moral standards of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
• photo collages are not judged on the basis of competition;
• submitted works should correspond to the given topic;
• creative innovation;
• originality;
• artistic skills.
Significant digital manipulation of photographic works is not allowed: the use of filters and the use of photomontage are not allowed. Noise removal, brightness and contrast can be slightly adjusted. When there are questions about the technical quality of the materials, the organizer may request RAW files or original transparencies.
For video work:
• Compliance with the topic of the competition;
• The number of authors of the work should not exceed 4 people;
• video format - mp4, mov, wmv;
• the maximum duration of the video does not exceed 1 minute;
• Participation of the direct participant in the video is optional;
• use of special programs and tools for video editing and filming - at the discretion of the participant;
• the participants themselves determine the video genre (interview, reportage, video clip, etc.);
• the content of the videos should not contradict the laws and ethical standards of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
6. Procedure for organizing and conducting the competition.
An organizational committee will be formed to ensure the organization and method of the competition. The composition of the organizational committee will be made up of the Association of Volunteers of Uzbekistan, experts in the field of photography and video.
The organizational committee determines the composition of the expert commission. The competition organizing committee reserves the right to reject the work in case of doubt about the authorship of the participant's work until the situation is clarified;
Cases that contradict the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, applications other than the selection procedure will not be accepted or considered.
Job evaluation criteria:
- originality;
- consideration of inclusiveness;
- creativity;
- creative approach;
- ease of perception (aesthetic work);
- compositional component of the work (integrity, proportion of elements);
- compliance with technical conditions;
- originality of the scenario idea;
- completeness of the plot;
- the integrity of the creative idea;
- compliance with ethical standards.
Materials that meet the requirements of this Regulation submitted to the competition will be submitted to the expert commission for consideration. Experts evaluate the accepted works. Ideas that do not meet the criteria will be rejected by the experts, a notification will be sent to the author at the address specified in the application for participation in the competition.
Experts evaluate the works according to the likes on the Telegram channel. First places in each direction are determined by experts. The remaining second and third places are determined by the number of likes. The final determination of the winners will be made at the general meeting of the expert commission.
7. Summarizing the results of the competition and awarding the winners.
The winners of the competition will be awarded the following prizes:
